Fabian K.O. Weiss, Dipl.-Ing., founded the startup immersight® during his IT studies at the University of Ulm, inventing the first commercial VR headset – the Raumbrille® – in 2011. Under his leadership, immersight developed groundbreaking software solutions like the 3D-Showroom and 3D-Workroom, enabling virtual exhibitions and construction site management.

Benjamin Zorn is Vice President Business Development at DSC Software AG and has over 20 years of experience in the IT and software industry. He also has extensive know-how from the various IT perspectives of a company. He supports companies in the concrete implementation of digitization strategies in the area of product data and lifecycle management with SAP.

Markus Poppinghuys has been responsible for the Essen location at CADENAS since 2004 and works in project sales and customer consulting. With over 20 years of experience in the field of parts management, he supports and assists national and international PARTsolutions and 3Dfindit customers and interested parties of CADENAS in his function as Vice President Enterprise 3Dfindit.

Daniele Sirigatti has more than 15 years of experience in research and development in various engineering disciplines, working for top companies and renowned universities. He is currently AI Lead at Audi Design, where he is responsible for the development and implementation of AI solutions. His projects include FelGAN, an AI-supported design solution, as well as research into innovative approaches such as MeshGPT. With his deep expertise in artificial intelligence and generative design, he is driving groundbreaking technologies to help shape the future of automotive design.

Vladislav Rosov studied aerospace engineering at the Technical University of Munich with a focus on computer-aided modeling and fluid mechanics. He then completed his doctorate on the use of deep learning in aerospace engineering. After gaining experience in industry with his own AI consultancy, he moved to Audi, where he has been working in the field of artificial intelligence in enterprise IT for almost five years. He currently heads the AI Enterprise Team and, together with his team, is responsible for implementing innovative AI and GenAI solutions throughout the company, from the initial idea to productive use.

With over 25 years of experience in manufacturing simulation and visualization, Jarkko Soikkeli is highly skilled in manufacturing processes and intralogistics. Throughout his career, Jarkko has contributed to a wide range of projects, from small startups to some of the largest companies in the manufacturing world. His expertise spans from initial layout planning and research and development to brownfield digital models, digital twins, and physical implementations. This knowledge and practical experience have enabled him to contribute to numerous projects across the manufacturing sector.

Johannes Hoos is the spokesperson for the OPEN management team, consisting of representatives from FESTO, Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, EDAG and CADENAS. As a project manager in the Research & Innovation department at Festo SE & Co. KG, Mr. Hoos deals with industrial control technology and new digital engineering concepts in automation technology based on the digital twin.

Christian Scheifele is Managing Partner of ISG Industrielle Steuerungstechnik GmbH and is responsible for the Simulation Technology division at ISG. In the field of simulation technology, ISG offers innovative products and solutions for digital twins and virtual commissioning with ISG-virtuos, ISG-dirigent and the TwinStore. After studying mechatronics and completing his doctorate in engineering at the University of Stuttgart on the topic of “Platform for real-time co-simulation for virtual commissioning”, Christian Scheifele has been designing accompanying research and innovation projects at ISG since mid-2019 in addition to product development in the field of simulation technology.

Since October 2023, Markus Dichtl has been working at AUSSCHREIBEN.DE to ensure that tenders finally become what they should always be: digital, efficient and transparent. As a consultant for product manufacturers, he shows how to be included directly in the tendering process with the right tender texts and additional information. He previously worked for several years at ORCA Software in sales for the ORCA AVA tendering software and knows the requirements for tender texts from both perspectives - that of the architect and the manufacturer. When he's not driving digitalization in the world of tendering, he can be found on LinkedIn, at the beautiful company headquarters in Neubeuern or at trade fairs - and at the latter he likes to have a coffee in his hand to discuss the latest trends!

Jerome Stirmann works for the sanitary ware manufacturer Kaldewei GmbH & Co. KG, Jerome Stirmann is responsible for managing and exporting digital data. Together with his team, he coordinates the provision of BIM data, price information and other relevant data from ERP and PIM systems. As a contributor to the Quality BIM project, he brings the perspectives of the sanitary industry to the joint project of the SHK industry (sanitary, heating, air conditioning) in order to create an efficient, cross-industry data structure. He is also responsible for the international provision of product master data for seamless integration into global markets.

Immediately after completing his studies in computer science, he played a key role in the development of one of the first intelligent electrical CAD systems (DDS-C). He shaped the further development of this system as Product Manager at HP and CoCreate. Since joining CIM-Team/Zuken, Bernd Schlenk has been Product Manager for the E-CAD software E³.series, which now enables the development and documentation of cable harnesses for vehicles in addition to classic electrical design for machines and systems. One focus here is the provision of production data from the digital twin, which opens up massive automation potential.

As one of the pioneers of “Electronic Engineering Software”, Joachim began his career as a software engineer with the development of CAD software for electronics (PCB routing and PCB layout for electronics). In 1987, after completing his studies in computer engineering, he co-founded CIM-Team GmbH in Ulm, which developed E3.series, one of the leading solutions for electrical engineering software. Since 2006, Joachim Frank has been part of the management team at Zuken for the E-CAD software E³.series with over 4,500 customers worldwide. In cooperation with CADENAS, Zuken E3 supports the establishment of 3Dfindit as the standard for the provision of electrified components by manufacturers. The current focus is on managing the partnerships with nVent/Hoffman and the Smart Cabinet Building Initiative.

Michael Müller, Head of digitization projects in the field of CAE at CADENAS GmbH. With more than 15 years of experience in the field of CAE, including 3 years as product manager of a CAE solution provider, he has been leading the CAE team at CADENAS GmbH since 2023 and supports and coordinates the creation of CAE data.

Christoph Reinke, collaboration in digitization projects in the Bosch Rexroth Industrial Hydraulics division.
With 18 years of experience in the company, including 10 years in development, he has been working on engineering data projects (3D models with CADENAS) for customers since 2022.

Constantin has extensive experience in the software industry and is currently Product Lead for “Xcelerator Operations Data-X-Change” at Siemens Industry Software GmbH. Prior to that, he worked for the same company as a PreSales & Business Consultant. Before joining Siemens, Constantin completed a dual study program at Klüber Lubrication SE & Co. KG, a Freudenberg company. Academically, Constantin is pursuing a PhD in Business Informatics at the Johannes Keppler University Linz, having previously completed a Master's degree in Business Informatics at the Steinbeis School of Management and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at the DHBW Heidenheim.

Thomas Lang is Senior Key Account Manager at CADENAS GmbH and advises strategic enterprise accounts on all aspects of the digital twins and digital services in all business areas (BIM, mechanical and electrical engineering).

Alihan Hasagulgov is co-founder of TRUPARTS and is disrupting the international market for industrial spare parts. He started his career at various software companies, where he developed innovative online platforms and was able to accompany the path from 30 to >160 employees. With TRUPARTS, Alihan has a software solution on the market that, for the first time, greatly simplifies the identification and procurement of stocked spare parts for machine manufacturers. TRUPARTS was recognized as the most innovative tech startup in Baden-Württemberg in 2024.

Jonas Gahleitner is 24 years old and works as a product manager at Ascendor Lifttechnik. After graduating from a technical college with a focus on automation technology and a degree with a focus on product management, he has now been responsible for the classic tasks of product management at Ascendor for over a year. As part of this role, a significant part of his work involves digitalization. He is jointly responsible for the product configurators that enable Ascendor Lifttechnik and its partners, as well as planners and architects, to implement projects even more quickly and easily.

Andreas Brandauer works at Siemens on the definition of product and manufacturing information in 3D using Model Based Definition (MBD) in the area of NX in mechanical engineering. He is driving forward the digital twin from a drawing-centric approach to a model-centric approach. Brandauer has been with Siemens since 2005. He works as a Senior Technical Consultant and Model Based Definition Evangelist. His experience includes mechatronic development in mechanical engineering, virtual commissioning and early real-time simulation.

Dr. Stefan Schork successfully completed his doctorate in mechanical engineering in 2020 and has been responsible for committees and topics in the field of sensor technology and electronic industrial controls as well as in the field of digitalization and Industry 4.0 in the ZVEI Automation Association since 2021. A particular focus is currently on the topic of digital product passports. The focus here is on representing the interests of member companies vis-à-vis politicians and on dealing with technical challenges, including finding solutions.

As a Product Manager for AAS Digital Twins at SAP, my mission is developing digital twins based on standards within business applications and processes to ensure interoperability, streamlined business operations, and collaboration within industrial ecosystems. In this role, I am involved with the Industrial Digital Twin Association (IDTA) to drive the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) as the standard for digital twins and participate in Factory-X initiatives. Prior to joining SAP, I completed my PhD in mechanical engineering at TU Darmstadt, where I focused on using AI approaches to automate product development processes.

Andreas Vehreschild is 50 years young and acts as Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of the KAISER Group. After graduating in business informatics in 2004, he gained extensive experience in various management positions in IT, sales and marketing within today's dormakaba Group.
In 2022, after an 18-year career at dormakaba, Andreas Vehreschild decided to join the KAISER Group, where he is now responsible for and driving forward the digital transformation of the entire Group as CDO. 

Tobias Sollmann is a computer scientist with in-depth expertise in the development and integration of product configurators. He joined Resolto Informatik GmbH in 2019 as a project manager and senior software developer. His main focus is on the further development of the Configon product configurator and the implementation of customized customer solutions based on it.

Thanks to his extensive experience in the design of technical configurators and their seamless integration into company processes, Tobias Sollmann understands the specific requirements of companies and their operational processes. The most recent example of his expertise is the successful implementation of the configurator for fiber optic building distributors at KAISER GmbH & Co. KG, which was realized in close cooperation with CADENAS and underlines the innovative strength of the partnership.

Gordon Wirth, born in 1993, completed his dual shipbuilding degree (M.Eng.) in Bremen in 2018. He entered the world of PLM with his master's thesis, in which he focused on data and process management at a shipyard. After 9 years of practical industry experience, he found his calling as PLM process manager at Nikon SLM Solutions in additive manufacturing in 2022. Today, he and a small team are responsible for the comprehensive PLM implementation based on Teamcenter, NX and PartSolutions with interfaces to SAP and EPLAN. In this way, he is designing the digital twin for the manufacturing technologies of tomorrow.

Dr Christian Mosch is managing director of the Industrial Digital Twin Association (IDTA) since 2021. He was previously responsible for branch strategy and standardisation in the area of Industry 4.0 at the VDMA (association of machinery and equipment manufacturing Industry) and an active member of the Platform Industry 4.0. As a mechanical engineer, he worked for several years in research in the field of virtual product development.

Jürgen Heimbach, born in 1966, is one of the founders of CADENAS GmbH. Already during his academic studies at the Technical College in Augsburg he impressed with his dedication in the area of standard and purchased parts. Even his diploma thesis dealt with this topic and showed a clear movement towards a career in this area. Today Mr. Heimbach is CEO of CADENAS GmbH.

Frank Epple has been working at CADENAS GmbH since 1997. Since 2000 he has been the Head of Software Development and thus responsible for the technical side of PARTsolutions and eCATALOGsolutions.

Dominik Kaiser is a business economist from Limburg an der Lahn and Sales Director at Harmonic Drive SE, a leading global manufacturer of high-precision drive technologies. The company stands for innovation and quality in sectors such as robotics, medical technology and aerospace. He initially took over responsibility for German sales, then became head of the DACH region before taking over overall sales for the company in 2024. With his many years of experience and expertise, he makes a significant contribution to successful market development and customer support. Tim Vorpahl has been a Product Manager at CADENAS since November 2023, where he performs a wide variety of tasks. Samuel Burr is Head of Product Data Management at FATH GmbH and has experience in change and interface management from various digitalization projects. He has been dealing with the challenges of component manufacturers in the areas of product management and development as well as marketing and sales for over 20 years. He laid the foundations for this by specializing in product and innovation management during his industrial engineering studies. His passion is the creation of scalable solutions based on standardized structures.

Benjamin Lammers studied environmental engineering at the Technical University of Munich, specializing in sustainability analysis in connection with Building Information Modeling (BIM). With in-depth knowledge in the evaluation and optimization of environmental aspects in the construction industry, Benjamin Lammers started a career at Concular, where he works as a Product Owner. In this role, he is responsible for strategic product development and optimization, especially with regard to sustainable material cycles and digital solutions to promote the circular economy in the construction industry.

M.Sc. Christian Herbst is group leader of the operational group for technical building services at Averdung Ingenieure & Berater GmbH in Hamburg. In his function as project manager and specialist planner with a focus on electrical engineering, he has already gained many years of experience in the realization of construction projects. As a BIM specialist planning coordinator, Mr. Herbst accompanies the implementation of the BIM planning method and the realization of new BIM use cases in the company. His focus is on circular construction and the reuse of technical components. He is convinced that the BIM method is a key building block for a more sustainable building sector in the future and is strongly committed to the cross-company exchange of experience.

Karsten Spiess is responsible for “Data Management MEP/BIM” and heads the CADENAS BIM Competence Center branch. Mr. Spiess has been involved in product data management in the heating, sanitary, ventilation, air conditioning (HSLK), electrical (ET) and building automation (GA) trades for over 20 years. Karsten Spiess is author of various VDI guideline series 3805 for product data exchange, in addition he holds the position of deputy chairman VDMA ARGE BIM as well as deputy chairman of the committee VDI 3805 ET and GA, DIN SPEC 91555 on the topics of classification and standardization for the life cycle planning-building-operation. He is also project manager of TP1.3 (building planning and technical building services) of the DIAMOND research project “Digital plant modeling with neutral data formats”.

Benjamin Schirrmeister has been CAD & PLM Administrator at Onejoon GmbH since 2021. After studying to become a mechatronics engineer, he gained experience as a research engineer. His passion for mechanical engineering, programming and process automation led him into the world of PLM. At Onejoon, he accompanied the migration from Teamcenter to Windchill, supervised the introduction of Solidworks parallel to NX and managed the integration of PARTsolutions. He is currently overseeing the international introduction of the engineering system landscape.

Ulrich Alt has been Managing Director of WeSt GmbH, a trusted partner of TopSolid in Germany, since 1998. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, he has helped many companies to noticeably improve their design and manufacturing processes while increasing efficiency and safety. My name is Vanessa Kraus, I work as a consultant at LuArtX IT GmbH and lead the sub-project in the DIAMOND research project in the area of layout and factory planning.
I am a trained designer in the field of HVAC and energy technology. My focus is the MicroStation drawing program with the CARF add-on for all modules in the areas of TGA, factory planning, calculations and IFC.
