Prof. Oetinger works in the Faculty of Engineering at the interface between technology and organization. One focus is on the use of IT systems to improve transparency and efficiency. Special attention is given to the product development and production process and the support of IT applications like ERP-, PLM-, MES- systems. Practical relevance and practical orientation are the guiding principles of his work.
